Cowgirl Chick

Cowgirl Chick is a 2013 approx. 15.2h dark bay mare by Kodiak Kowboy out of a Seeking Daylight mare. She had a solid racing career and retired completely sound with super clean tight legs and no vices. She is very compact, sporty, and athletic. This mare loves to have a job and is very light mouthed. "Carole" has already been introduced to poles and small jumps, loves to go through the trails around the farm, has an auto lead change and learns very quick. She was entered in the 2020 makeover, but with it being moved to 2021 I made the decision to scratch her. She has had off property experience and was great and trailers well, her first busy horse show definitely made her nervous, but with someone that is willing to take their time with her - she will get better. Carole needs someone who is willing to earn her trust and be patient, she is a really athletic and talented mare. Even though Carole is hot and sensitive, when she is in a program and staying consistent I actually can ride her completely on the buckle. She has had a lot of ground work and lunges easily, stands to be mounted, has been fully body clipped, etc. She prefers a lot of turnout and is easy in the field, is very neat in her stall and fat on air, she is an extremely easy keeper and can absolutely be barefoot.
